It took me three tries to finally get a delivery of these solar lights, and when they came, I was missing one extension piece that goes from the light to the stake. I hope that these lights were not returned with one missing extension and then shipped to me. Very happy with the lights, very disappointed with quality control. I need one more extension piece for that one light.I ordered 2 sets, 1 set had two lights that didn’t work and the second set didn’t have all of its posts. It looked like someone tampered with the box and took half of the post out.. luckily I had spares from others sets purchased elsewhere to make it work cuz I hate returning things…ok these are actually quite good-most a junk and last only a few months if lucky. I have had one set last just under a year and for outdoor solar lights that's really not bad. They are made of HEAVY DUTY glass and moderately sturdy metal, however they have a week point between the light and the stake held by a tiny screw that tends to snap and break over time. having said all that- because these have actually held up better than other less expensive styles -I have purchased these again this year so i would recommend.Like the metal design and sturdy stake. Prior set was all plastic and so cheap and dim. Need to be careful with them as they are glass. If you knock one over it could break so be careful mowing and working near them. Stakes are sturdy but still plastic so following installation directions and don’t step on them or they’ll break.My husband loves these. I bought two boxes & he bought more.So easy to install. They brighten the front area every night. Definitely recommend.I like the product but it cold have been package better to avoid breakage or handled more carefully. Out of 8 lights, two were broken.These lights are very inexpensive, easy to assemble, and even come with rechargeable batteries. The solar charger keeps them charged and they go on at dark and off at light. Could not believe that they would be this good for only about $8 each!You just push or pound the solid plastic rod into the ground and place the fixture onto that. Now, my gardens have soft soils so that did help.I though the set of 8 would need to be added to but that is not the case.
