I just got a brand new pool installed and decided I needed a little something EXTRA!! I came across these bad boys while randomly searching Amazon for stuff that I don’t need and I had to have them. The 4 pack for $39.99 is by far the best deal I’ve seen on Amazon for these flamingos! Anyways, onto the review….I received these yesterday afternoon, so they only got about 3 hours of direct sunlight and another 4 hours or so of daytime in the shade. I figured they wouldn’t light up due to them not getting enough time to fully charge. Much to my surprise when I looked out the back door around 9pm, they were actually pretty bright! They were super easy to inflate with my little electric pump. One thing I will note is only the bodies seem to light up, not the necks/heads. Not a big deal for me at all since you can clearly tell what it is, but just something I thought I’d note. Be they are decent sized — not tiny, but not big either. My pool is 18’ in diameter if that helps at all for size reference. Seem to be great quality, but only time will tell.I did not attempt to use the “sound” battery thingys and don’t plan to. Since they cannot be in the water, they’re pretty pointless for me. But if using for other decor, they might be pretty cool. Overall, I am very happy with my impulse purchase and highly recommend these! For only getting 4 hours of “charge time” in the sun, I’m very impressed by the brightness! Today they will be in the pool all day long, so I’m excited to see if they will be even brighter tonight. If you’re thinking about buying these and love flamingos, do it!! They are also a great gift idea! :) I will update if anything changes!Flamingo lovers you need these!!! Comes with a sound piece that sounds like a whole flock of flamingos, I dont use it, it's loud! Plus I was afraid it would fall into pool and get ruined. The flamingos light up brightly at night. Love this otem!We bought the white solar colored balls from this company before and loved them. We decided to try these new glowing flamingos as well to put in our pool. They are so cool! They are lifelike in appearance and have a beautiful color. In the day, it has a nice deep pinkish color and at night the color is more brilliant when they light up. They also have a neat sound box that activates when shaken. It can easily be taken put with a velcro cover built in. Very easy to use and the kids love it! Wild highly recommend this product even if you don’t have a pool. They can sit level on the ground. Adds a soothing ambiance at night.They float in my pool all day and light up at night. They are supposed to ‘honk’ when nudged but that happens rarely, like when my ipool sweep runs into them. I don’t know what flamingoes sound like in real life, but I suspect what these inflatable ones are doing don’t resemble the real thing. I prefer these guys to be silent anyway.Nice ?These Guys are so cute and look really nice, used a blowup machine so that was easy and they are affordable. Think I need two more!I ordered two sets of these, and couldn’t be happier. The size is perfect, the glow is SO fun, they bob happily around my pool. Took the noise piece out of the one I decided to try it with - seems silly and it rusted. Great value for the money and they add fun decor in the pool both during the day and at night.
